- Higher Hp possible with larger roller inertia of single roller
- Higher Traction with larger inertia of single roller
- The Vehicle needs to be properly strapped in for all testing
- Easy to use
- Lower upfront and operational costs involved
- Highly accurate, repeatable results
- Front-rear roll coupling is not necessary
- Usually requires permanent placement as it cannot be easily moved around
- Upgrading to AWD can be inexpensive
